Meet Mrs. Pack

Mrs. Pack's Bio:
After graduating from college, Mrs. Pack worked in public relations, writing and researching for the Tennessee Conservationist Magazine and later in publicity for country recording artists on Music Row.  Within a couple of years, she changed her focus and became a recruiting consultant and headhunter in the human resources industry.  As her family grew, she again made a career change and accepted a position as the office manager for the church she and her family attended.  Her various experiences have shaped her philosophy of life and education.

Married for 34 years, Mrs. Pack and her wonderful husband, Tim, are the parents of two adult sons, Jared and Jordan. Both of her sons have been influenced by her philosophy of education and have pursued doctoral degrees.  Dr. Jared Pack, professor of history at the University of Mississippi, his wife Karen, son Ben and daughter, Annabeth, have recently moved to Oxford, Mississippi. Dr. Jordan Pack, veterinarian at Kinslow Veterinary Clinic, his wife April, daughter, Elora, and son Garrison, live just a few minutes from Mrs. Pack.  Mrs. Pack loves visits to and from her children and especially, her grandchildren, Ben, Elora, Annabeth and Garrison.

Following her decisions to pursue a career in education, Mrs. Pack, a native of Bedford County and Shelbyville, obtained a position at a middle school in her hometown. However, she considers herself tremendously blessed and thankful to be teaching so close to her home of 30 years in North Rutherford County.  Mrs. Pack has long held a fascination with books and she views each day as an opportunity to impress upon a child the love of books and the  limitless destiny available to young readers.  It is her philosophy that every child is capable of growing his or her intelligence, becoming a lifelong learner and exceeding even the highest expectations she sets before him or her.

In her free time, Mrs. Pack loves to travel, take photographs, and scrapbook online.  She also loves roller coasters and is always open to the next thrill ride. Mrs Pack is a sports fan (baseball & football) of her alma mater, MTSU, and her son's, UT Knoxville.   Mrs. Pack is an avid reader and especially loves to FaceTime with her grandchildren and read them stories.

Mrs. Pack holds a B.S. in Mass Communication with a Public Relations emphasis.  She also has a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction for K-6 with a 4-8 Endorsement in all content areas.
