RTI-B

At RFE our goal is to focus on the whole child. We strive to empower our scholars so they can grow academically, beahviorally, emotionally, physically, and socially. We will continue to focus on our RFE Essential 10 as well as our intervention for behavior.

What is RTI²-B?

RTI²-B refers to a school-wide plan focusing on behavior support involving a three-tiered model. We will be continuing Tier 1 of the RTI²-B plan just as we did last year. Scholars have been taught school-wide expectations and will continue to practice these expectations while moving around the building. In addition to behavior-specific praise, scholars may receive Bolt Bucks, Dojo Points and House points when engaged in the expected behaviors.

What is the goal of RTI²-B?

The purpose of the RFE RTI²-B plan is to help each scholar develop the self-discipline to make good choices and to improve our school culture and climate. We will be recognizing scholars for displaying our three behavioral expectations also known as

RFE Behavioral Expectations”

1)Be Safe

2) Be Respectful

3) Be Responsible

The Behavioral Expectation Matrix, found in your child’s take-home folder, defines what each expectation looks like in each of the school locations. For example, what does respect look like in the cafeteria, hallway, or classrooms?
