About Mrs. Frederick

Education

I grew up in Nashville and attended Goodpasture Christian School for Pre-k thru 9th grade before moving to Smyrna.  I graduated from Blackman High School in 2006.  After graduating high school I attended Motlow and MTSU where I majored in Elementary Education.  I graduated from MTSU in May of 2011 and began my teaching career in August of 2011.  After teaching for a few years I decided to pursue my master's degree.  I graduated with my master's of Education in Literacy in October of 2014.  

Teaching Career

This will be my eleventh year teaching. I began my teaching career in August of 2011 at David Youree Elementary.  I taught second grade for two years before moving to first grade which I taught for six years.  This is now my third year teaching kindergarten at Rocky Fork Elementary.

Family & Favorites

My husband Heath and I have been married for thirteen years and have three children together.  Our oldest is Hayden who is 11 and is a sixth grader at Stewarts Creek Middle.  Brooks is six and is in first grade at Rocky Fork Elementary this year.  Our youngest, Carson, is 2 and attends daycare.  I also have a stepdaughter, Rylee, who is 16 and will be a senior at Stewart's Creek High School this year.  We live in Murfreesboro and have a Goldendoodle named Marley and a Golden Retriever named Ellie.
