About Mrs. Burns
Education
I am a life-long resident of Rutherford County, I went to Campus School for Kindergarten and 1st grade. Then I went to Eagleville where my mom taught 3rd grade. I went to Eagleville 2nd grade through graduation. I loved being in a K-12 school. I was able to help with the elementary while I was in high school. This helped me realize that I wanted to be a teacher.
After high school, I went to MTSU. I graduated from there in 2013 with my degree in Early Childhood Education(Pre-K-3).

Teaching
My teaching career began in Bedford County with my first class of first graders in 2015. I taught there 1 year. I left Bedford County to start teaching at David Youree. While at David Youree I taught 2nd and 1st grades. This will be my 5th year teaching Kindergarten at Rocky Fork Elementary!

Family and Favorites
My husband, Tyler, and I met in high school. Together we have 3 children. Lexi is 15 and is a tenth grader at Watertown High. Jase is 9 and is a 3rd grader here at Rocky Fork. Eli is 5. We live in Woodbury and have a dog named Myles.
